Jinnah International Airport in Karachi has resumed full flight operations following a temporary closure earlier Thursday, according to Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA). The temporary suspension started around noon but ended earlier than anticipated allowing both domestic and international flights to resume on time, according to The Express Tribune and Dunya News as well as Dawn news channels as well as The Neutral.
PAA had initially issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) alerting airmen of its decision to suspend operations until midnight for operational reasons, without providing specifics. But later they announced the airport was back open without restrictions or cancellations of flights.
