At the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted Pakistanis’ unwavering resilience. This day is dedicated to all those who stood strong against adversity and our security forces who made countless sacrifices to secure peace across our nation, according to him. Furthermore, he stressed the significance of national unity while assuring guests of his government’s commitment towards democratic governance and economic recovery.

At this ceremony, Pakistan’s armed forces put on an impressive show, including a military parade and flypasts by Pakistan Air Force jets. Additionally, students from local schools presented cultural performances that celebrated Pakistani diversity while national songs created a festive and patriotic environment.

Religious scholars led special prayers for national peace, prosperity and the strength of state institutions. Mosques across the nation held special congregations as part of this nationwide observance.

Security was tight in and around the capital, with law enforcement agencies stationed at key locations to ensure an uneventful event. Roads leading to the Parade Ground were sealed off and shuttle services provided for participants attending.

As the Youm-e-Tashakur ceremony progresses, its spirit conveys hope, progress, and appreciation – serving as a powerful symbol of Pakistan’s ability to endure, adapt, and overcome every difficulty it confronts.
